We just released the third public beta version of the new upcoming server. We fixed all know bugs in this release and we have 32bit and 64bit builds for all the supported platforms. Please read the included ReadMe file for more information.

What’s new in this version:

  • Implemented the LOCK/UNLOCK TABLE commands
  • Fixed some win32 related stability issues
  • Fixed some issues related to BLOB fields
  • Fixed a lot of privileges related issues
  • Added some security checks to the PRIVILEGES commands
  • Removed the unused CHUNK_TIME preference
  • Fixed some small issues in the Admin App
