Synology NAS 7 introduced several restrictions and a new CubeSQL installer was needed.
Thanks to the invaluable help from Christopher Rieke, a new complete installer is now available from: https://www.sqlabs.com/cubesql_download#nas

I updated to DSM7 and installed cubeSQL 5.8.5. But now the old database files won't open anymore. When copying the file to the new folders in /cubeSQL/data/databases, the status of the db is marked with a red dot. How can I run the existing database please?
It was probably encrypted and you need to set the encryption key again.

This web page https://www.sqlabs.com/cubesql_download include cubeSQL for Synology and you can read: "Use this installer to install CubeSQL x86 to your Intel based Synology NAS. The database will be stored in a shared folder named "cubeSQL" which must be created beforehand."
But, if you create a "cubeSQL" folder before the installer, after the installer will create another "cubeSQL" folder into the previous "cubeSQL" folder.
Since it works and since I am not expert, I do not modify anything, but is it seems incorrect to add a "useless" nesting of folders.
